We got off to a good start with the opening score of the game. But boardsmill quickly got into their stride and open up a 3 pt lead, and could have been further ahead after 20 mins. Dunboyne started to get the ball in their hands and trailed by 5-3 coming to half time. Just before the break boardsmill had a shot crash off the bar and eventually got a point to lead by 3 at half time.
The second half saw a different Dunboyne team, with all O player upping their game and creating plenty of chances.
It took a while to get our first score but we then scored1 -6 to take a strong lead. Once again boardsmill came back to get 3 pts on the trot but we again finished strongly with 2 good points to ensure the win.
The team worked really hard in the 2nd half and deserved the win, with great pressure on the boardsmill players in possession.
